Civil Services
Mike knows we should support for our local firefighters and
police officers, and local support is not enough. Mike sees the
need request grants to provide the necessary equipment and
benefits for those who protect our families.
The retirement plans, and health care benefits should be set up
in order to guarantee security for our public servants while not
bankrupting our local municipalities. Mike, with other leaders,
will seek federal and state grants to help our rural and municipal
departments get the resources they need.
Mike will continue to learn the problems each community is
facing, and will note the changes needed for us to move forward.
"My discussions with Officers and Firefighters have proven they
are humble and proud of the resources they have. Each civil
servant I have talked with has told me they need more, but they
do not want to ask for it. They want to serve us without us
feeling obligated to serve them, I can help. I want to help raise
funds for the various departments through fund raisers and
public awareness of the needs. Our legislator should reach out
